What are my chances of prevailing?

It is the creditor’s job to prove its case by a “preponderance of the evidence.” That is, “is it more likely than not that the creditor is right.” That is usually done by the creditor producing documents (copies of agreements and or bills sent to you over the course of the life of the account) and/or providing a testifying witness at trial to prove its case.
